  2. I like the pictures because you capture the texture and it gives us a different perspective, but it would make it more interesting if it was zoom in a little

  3. Jillian, though some would not find interest in the simple photographs above, I actually want to say I can see this as a start to a really cool series of photographs. I can hear my former professors at SDSU telling you to continue photographing "holes" and exploring new ways of telling a story or capturing various types of holes, creating some sort of narrative. I doubt these holes have any relevance to your life, but you never know, you could be stumbling upon something great. Like you could start by only photographing holes naturally formed in pieces of wood. Then maybe move onto holes found in other elements found in nature, like leaves. Then even a contrast of manmade holes in metals, etc. This might sound like a bunch of fluff, but I'm simply stating that these photographs sparked an interest and aren't as boring as others may think.
